MacArthur Associated Consultants is currently seeking candidates for the position of Roadway Design Engineer. As a Roadway Design Engineer you will play a foundational role in the planning, design and construction of some of the most important projects happening in our community. Our Roadway Engineer will play a vital role in developing the timelines and construction schedules for our projects as well as having the opportunity to lead and monitor the progress of projects directly at the project construction sites. The ideal candidate possesses an internal initiative and drive to propel our projects forward to completion and a passion to contribute to the safety and well-being of our communities and the people who live in them.
Technical knowledge needed for success:
- An Oklahoma P.E. License and a minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway engineering including at least 2 years in project management.
- A working knowledge of Roadway Design Software (Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads, Civil3D).
- Knowledge of Oklahoma transportation regulations and standards along with knowledge of AASHTO Green Book standards and MUTCD.
What you will do:
- Lead roadway design and infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and designs for projects.
- Utilize computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Serve as the onsite project representative and visit construction sites to monitor progress and other duties per the contract documents.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, ensuring professional growth and project success.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000 with a phenomenal benefits package.
